With all those capitals, I'm sure you can guess that I loved my time in Barcelona this past weekend! :) After packing on Thursday evening, the ISA group left Valencia around 8:30am on Friday morning. Our bus was significantly smaller than other ones we've used, so to say that I was uncomfortable was a huge understatement. Good thing I had friends to distract me from my discomfort!

Upon arrival in Barcelona, we took a panoramic bus tour of some of the main points in the city. Unfortunately, I was not the best tourist at this point due to my dramamine intake/need for food. My pictures from the bus tour didn't turn out well, but I did snag a few when we hopped off!
The rest of the afternoon was free, so I decided on a siesta before braving the city! After some restless sleep, I went with Ashley, Ashton, Allie, and Anna (ironic that they all start with "A") to the Plaza de Los Toros. This particular plaza had been transformed into a shopping center, movie theater, and restaurant haven. We window shopped and then decided to have dinner on the roof!

We had heard from some other ISA students that on the weekends there is a light/music show at a fountain down in the square. From the top of the Plaza it was beautiful, but we decided on a closer look as well! :)
After a great afternoon/evening, I spent some time trying to access social media, but the hotel we stayed at actually shut off the internet at midnight. It was wonderful to lay on a bed in a room with air conditioning!!! Comfortable sleeping temperature is definitely the number one thing I miss about home.
